MODELS AGAINST MALARIA (MAM)
MODELS AGAINST MALARIA (MAM) is the flagship health advocacy initiative of the Models Village Foundation, dedicated to reducing the prevalence of malaria particularly among children and pregnant women. Through strategic awareness, education, and prevention efforts, MAM leverages the influence of professional models as advocates to engage the public, stakeholders, brands, and global agencies in the fight against malaria.
By combining fashion and beauty with humanitarian action, MAM draws urgent attention to malaria while delivering essential health supplies and empowerment packages to families in underserved rural communities. Our approach integrates anti-malaria workshops, community education, and the distribution of critical resources such as insecticide-treated nets, mosquito repellents, malaria diagnostic kits, and other life-saving tools.
With a multidisciplinary team of professional models, healthcare providers, and volunteers, we continue to address major health challenges across the continent using visibility and creativity to drive meaningful impact where it is needed most.
