Kpaduma is a settlement dominated by the Gbagyi people located at the southern part of the Asokoro district. Touching sight in Kpaduma is the crowded ramshackle houses in the community that do not have good  toilets and waste disposal facilities. For this reasons, many residents practice open defecation and also indiscriminate waste disposal. This act by the residents made Kpaduma a stinking environment and open to diseases like Malaria parasite caused by infected female Anopheles mosquitoes which are present in the community.

Kpaduma is just a stone throw away from Asokoro which is inhabited by the nation’s high officers and houses the 36 states liaison offices, yet they don’t enjoy the presence of this development around them. Kpaduma was once refer to as a “forgotten community, a decaying city” in the capital.
